"refund" going to paypal...I didn't order through paypal
So....Brian says my refund is going to paypal. i called tonight and he was rather apologetic. Well, ostensibly.
I didn't order through paypal! I checked my record for the past year, plus transaction shows up on my credit card as BHM, not paypal (which it would if I had ordered paypal). So perhaps he is trying to get me into the paypal scam.
This is after he twice stated in email "I have refunded your credit card." I emailed him today asking where the refund is and now he says he cannot refund via credit card because it is too late...and then he is convinced I ordered through paypal...Asked him why I have to email him to find out this info, a regular merchant would contact the customer.
Credit card won't do anything, it is too late now.
I am calling paypal, just to file a complaint about Brian in general and double confirm that there is no transaction.

Hey, we are going through the same thing with Brian. We have been dealing with this since April of 2007...still no money. He has said countless times that he has sent a check and then...nothing. He has recently said that he would refund through Paypal. What do you mean "the paypal scam"? We didn't order through paypal either, but we do have a paypal account. I thought surely it would be easier for him to submit our money through paypal then to cut us a check...because that route obviously wasn't working. I have a lot more details if you need them, but I really just need to know what you mean by "scam" because I left him a message yesterday evening, and i need to know if this paypal thing is no good before he calls me back. Thanks for any help you can give me. I will check back.

I have read online about there being no protection for paypal purchases not made through ebay. I also think that Brian likes to lead on people past the limitation period. He also can apparently tell paypal that the complaint is closed and they will shut it (even if the consumer is not satisfied). I read this on reseller ratings I think.

I am just confused because I am 100% certain I did not make the payment through paypal, and Brian keeps insisting that I did order through paypal.
My next step is to file an FBI/internet crime complaint which I will do this week as I am on vacation from school.

Guys! just wanted to let you know in 2007 all payments were either made by paypal or by you with your credit card as paypal as the gateway. the consumer does not know anything. Just to let you know there is no SCAM a business can do. There is meaning of a chargeback that the consumer wins all the time by disputing the transaction with their bank.
In othermeans when a business ships to a non billing address like we did with Allison Murray. we are at 100% risk because the credit card company will ask for a tracking number and address where we shippped. The business will not be able to prove anything and the business loses the chargeback dispute all the time. That is why a sale is not sale until the consumer is 100 % satisfied. Do not listen to BHM, they are nuts, liars and thieves of the highest order. Please protect yourself & your bank account by avoiding them at ALL costs.
