BHM Golf Sucks

A journal detailing my trials with BHM golf, trying to get the golf clubs I ordered in June delivered in November (note his website promises shipping within 2 days). Feel free to comment on your experience, or leave tips for me if you have had any success with this company.

AG Ilinois Suing Brian H. Meyer!!!!!

"Attorney General Lisa Madigan filed a lawsuit today against a DuPage County online sporting goods retailer who faces a range of allegations including the failure to provide consumers with purchased products. The suit, filed in DuPage County Circuit Court, names Brian H. Meyer, doing business as BHM Golf of Villa Park, as the defendant."

"Madigan's lawsuit alleges that Meyer violated the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act and asks the court to prohibit Meyer from engaging in the business of selling sporting goods over the Internet and from further violating Illinois' consumer protection laws. The lawsuit seeks restitution to consumers and court costs."

"In addition, Madigan's suit seeks a civil penalty of $50,000 and additional penalties of $50,000 for each violation found to have been committed by Meyer with the intent to defraud."

My stuff is in the mail to the AG Illinois Consumer Protection Division but I am calling the 1-800 # to see if I can somehow get added, not sure if this is a class action, but it does mention restitution for consumers and I hope to be included!

    Im so glad other people are fighting this absolute thief and con man like I have.

    You have to hit him with everything you can. BBB, AG complaint, contact your credit card company--its unreal that he is still doing business.

    I ordered a golf bag from him, he charged 4 times what the normal shipping is, then shipped the golf bag which was not the bag I ordered, then charged my card for two more orders AND shipping THAT I NEVER EVEN MADE.

    Still havent gotten a refund.

    I got added to the AG's offices complaint and everyone out there can too. You just need to document your conversations and order history with him. Save all emails and bank statements showing the charges. Its not too late to become part of the lawsuit.

    This crook did this to me also.I orderd one set of clubs from him and he sent me three sets.He tried to charge my credit card three times at different amounts.I sent the sets back that I didnt order.He wont return calls,when he knows who you are he hangs up.Just make sure you save all documents.Now a month later he is trying to rebill my credit card saying he never recieved the merchandise back.

    I am fighting right now to get a refund for the one set of irons I ordered but he charged me twice. I have just sent a letter to the attorney generals office. How is this tool still in business?

    Please read this story carefully, and if anyone (other than Mr. Wonderful himself) finds fault, please let me know. I did not agree to the order, I sent a shipping price request. I was extremely clear as to what was willing to pay in the email request. He didn't have to call me back, if he couldn't ship a hat from Chicago to New York for $5, he could simply have deleted the request.

    BUT NOOOOOO.

    When I didn't simply accept his exorbitant shipping fee, he proceeded to flip out. And when I say "flip out, " I mean he called me 6 times and sent me a text on my cell within one hour, threatening and yelling at me. "I'm gonna bomb you, " "I'm gonna kill you, " "I'm gonna sue you, "F&%k you, " "F&%k your mother, " "You piece of F&%king sh&t, c&ck-s&cking, mother f&cker, " "you cheap New York F&gg%t."

    Who talks to potential customers that way? I'm an easy kinda guy, if he made any compromise, he most likely would have gotten the sale, but he lost his effen mind. It was hilarious at first, but eventually, I realized I was dealing with a foul-mouthed 5-year-old child. This guy wigged out like that little retard on youtube that tried to shove the remote up his bum (if you haven't seen it, look it up). BHM Golf is run by a mindless lunatic that should be locked up in a rubber room. I hope it's a one-man operation, because I'd hate to think about him with employees. This troubled salesman has no business in the public retail economy.

    His low prices are subsidized by overcharged shipping. I know this because I sell stuff too, and ship things out all day every day. I wanted a deal, and paying $22.75, for a hat I can get locally for $16.99 didn't seem like a good deal to me.

    I don't care what anyone out here thinks of me, but I sincerely hope I can warn a few people before they get sucked into the world of crazy that is BHM Golf.

    Complete twat of a widdle he is, lying continuously. Numberous reports have surfaced, all on poor prices and services, despite Brian claiming to have the best of both. 'New management' is a complete lie, along with 'new procedures in place'. Pfft.

    I am extreme wary of purchasing from BHM Golf.

    This man has no never man. He can belittle a business and tell them what to charge for shipping an item. He thinks he knows the cost of shipping 1 small box. UPS is the only way to get a verified tracking number and it costs from Illinois to NYC $13.65. We state that on the site. He called on Sunday morning and was not very nice.

    We refused to take any credit card over the phone. He must place the order on our site and aggree to the shipping and handling charges. Note Shipping and Handling. If you don't like the Shipping and handling then do not call or email swear words. The hat he was buying usually sells at $22.00 plus shipping on ebay for $5.00 and ours was $10.00 plus $10.65. Who is ripping who off. BHM GOLF is still the lowest prices on the web guaranteed.

    the name is allison murray. She has all the merchandise and her money back from her credit card company and she lied to the attorney general that she never rec'd the money back.. she has 2 times the money back and the merchandise.

    she is the scammer on this.. watch out retailers for the FAMOUS STUDEN ALLISON MURRAY THAT SHIPS MERCHANDISE TO A NON BILLING ADDRESS UPS STORE IN USA , SHE IS LOCATED IN CANADA.

    Ordered a Clicgear 3.0 push cart, but received a Trekker TC3 Freestyle Push Cart - This was not the item I ordered. When I called, not only did customer service know that this was not the item I ordered (and sent it to me anyways), but tried to persuade me that this was the item I want. Awaiting on return inquiry... will keep this blog updated.

    I noticed he makes a lot of posts on the internet saying that BHM is different. Hahaha, yeah right. They're still the same old con game that started years ago.

    I too fell for the sweet deal of BHM golf, and paid for it. After he sent me the wrong shoes, it took a week of request for a return to get Brian, who went by Joe at the time to call me and threaten to beat me up etc.....I cannot believe this guy is still in buisness. Someone needs more meds.

    Brian H. Meyer does not pay his bills either. What an idiot I was not to check his references before I did some work for him. Like others said here, he is like Jekyle and Hyde - goes berserk and loses all grip on reality and makes threats to physically harm a person. I do believe he is seriously mentally ill.     To everyone that has been screwed buy this guy, let me tell you I unknowingly got revenge for you.

    I live close to his little store front and went by there and ordered a golf bag from him. When it came in it was not the bag I ordered. I went back there with the incorrect bag thinking I could have him exchange it for the bag I wanted.
    I met him on the parking lot and he looked very apprehensive as he approached me. I calmly explained the situation and he proceeded to tell me that he did nothing wrong and what do you want me to do about it. I told him I wanted it exchanged, he told me that he had done me a favor by ordering the bag from his store and he was not going to be responsible for any additional charges and then started to swear at me dropping F- bombs and attacking me verbally.

    Well I am not going to take that for one second and I exploded on him and backed him up against my car and told him he was a Humpty Dumpty MF and let me tell you he was scared like a little kid, I mean there was fear in his eyes.

    I repeatedly asked him to hit me since he had threatened me but he was way too chickensh_t to do anything.

    I grabbed my bag and left with him cowering in the parking lot.

    I had not looked at any of these web sites before all this happened I expected a rational businessman
    and got a lunatic.
    Looking at all these emails going back to 2006 I do not understand why this guy is still in business.
